Have you dreamed about a day in the country pedalling along flat(ish) roads in style with the breeze in your hair and the country air in your lungs? Well, we get to travel like this every day and we thought it would be great if we could share it with you.

We have partnered with Johnny Loco Explore (as featured in British Airways inflight magazine and at the Bay Hotel amongst other venues) to bring you two of their sexy cruisers that make cycling so stylish and effortless they seem to do at least half the work for you. With their upright riding approach, broad comfy seats, wide tyres and suspension you couldn’t ask for better. And zero carbon emissions to boot. Leave your car in our parking lot and grab a bike and lots of attention as you move around our village in style.

You can rent by the hour (R20) or for the full day (R120) or weekend (R220). Our day package includes both bikes, a picnic lunch for two to be enjoyed on the banks of the river or at the foot of our mountains and a glorious cappuccino each on your return (R375).

And by special request you can request Alex’s cargo cruiser to rent by the hour to get the kids around town. Be aware that this is Alex’s village transport and so there may be restrictions.
